What are the risks?
- In addition to fat deposits in the area being treated, you also lose body fluid during the procedure. Because of this, you will be given fluids intravenously during the operation, and will be closely monitored after surgery for normal fluid balance.After the operation, you can expect a recovery period of up to three weeks.During this time, you will likely have to wear a body-compression garment on the treated area; this helps minimize the swelling and fluid accumulation.
