Purpose:
To rejuvenate the appearance of the face by tightening the skin (and sometimes the muscles) of the face, chin and neck. The best candidate for a facelift is a man or women whose face and neck have begun to sag, but whose skin still has some elasticity and whose bone structure is strong & well defined.
- Most patients are in their 40's to 60's but can be done on people in their 70's & 80's.
- A facelift can make you look younger and fresher & enhance your self-confidence.
- Improves the signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles, and re-draping the skin of your face and neck.
- We prepare your skin for the surgery by placing you on a medical skin care regiment before and after surgery so you gain the best results possible.
- Our surgeons use the most current and up to date surgical procedures
- A facelift will allow you to turn the clock back on the average of 10 years and gain a more youthful appearance.
- A facelift can be done alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as a forehead lift, eyelid surgery or laser resurfacing.

What do we do differently:
- We take the time educate and to listen to your questions.
- By educating you, we prepare you for your surgery, your post-surgical care & recovery.
- We are dedicated to restoring your natural beauty and harmony.

How it's done:
Working through incisions hidden behind the hairline, excess facial and neck fat is removed and muscles are tightened. Excess skin is trimmed away. (See diagram)

A new method of surgery is available which elevates the soft tissue of the mid-face creating a more youthful appearance.
Recovery:
You may typically return to work within two weeks. Most of the bruising and swelling subsides after 2-3 weeks. Improvement will continue for up to one year after surgery.
