THE PERSONAL TOUCH
Dr. Buford is a member of the prestigious Botox Cosmetic® National Education Foundation and personally administers all treatments to his patients. As director of a National BOTOX® Training Center, he is responsible for instructing other physicians in the most up-to-date methods for Facial Shaping and Precision Botox Treatments. In addition, he was recently named to Allergan's prestigous "Injecting with Confidence" program as a top injection trainer for both physicians and nurse injectors. In addition, he is an nationally recognized trainer for both SCULPTRA as well as RESTYLANE.
As a graduate of the Baker-Stuzin-Baker Fellowship, he is one of the few Colorado Plastic Surgeons to have completed formal postgraduate training in Cosmetic Surgery. His goal is to recognize your individual needs and provide to you the best care possible.

Each session begins with an individualized facial analysis during which we discuss both what BOTOX can do for you as well as the results you wish to achieve. BOTOX is then administered in a relaxing environment with minimal downtime. While most patients return to normal activity within a few hours, we ask that you refrain from vigorous exercise and massage of the treated areas for the remainder of the day.

SCULPTRA: The "Liquid Facelift":
 As we age, our faces change in a number of ways. Skin becomes thin and more translucent, facial fat decreases, and the overall youthful volume we once had seemingly fades with the passage of time.
To address this, we can either stretch the skin tightly (which can often give us a more aged look), or we can replace this lost volume and thicken our facial skin. The end result is a more youthful, more rested appearance. Sculptra is an injectable that has been used succesfully for more than a decade in Europe to treat over 150,000 patients with HIV-associated Lipodystrophy. It was brought to the United States in 2005 where it is now being used to volumize specific facial zones and restore a more youthful appearance.
   
ACTUAL PATIENT PHOTOS
Sculptra is injected in the office using topical numbing cream and is generally associated with minimal discomfort and with no need for skin testing. Results appear gradually over the next 4-6 weeks and treatment may be repeated until the desired end-result is noted. During this time, Sculptra stimulates your body to produce collagen within the underlying tissue--essentially lifting and volumizing your facial appearance. The result is fewer lines and wrinkles and a more youthful appearance.

In 2004, after reviewing Denver's top Cosmetic Surgeons, Jennifer Wilde--previous morning show host of JAMMIN 92.5 FM--chose Dr. Buford as her personal Plastic Surgeon. Following, Jennifer’s surgery, Dr. Buford appeared on the morning show and through lively and informative presentations, educated her listeners about the benefits of body contouring and breast enhancement. - The Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation is a nonprofit service organization for business leaders between the ages of 20 and 39. Chartered under Active 20-30 International, the Foundation has over 50 members representing a diversity of professional backgrounds. The mission of the Foundation is to raise money for disadvantaged children through annual fund-raising events and projects. Since it's inception in 1987, events hosted by the Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation have raised over $2 million. The Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation, the Denver Nuggets Community Fund and WB2 Charities, funds of the McCormick Tribune Foundation, benefit organizations that provide better opportunities to children & families.
This past fall, m y staff and I participated in the Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery Center Event to benefit Victims of Hurricane Katrina. I am proud to say that this day raised more than $25,000 for the Red Cross with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Red Cross. In addition, we sponsored a BOTOX, Shoes, & Chocolate Event which raised money for the Volunteers of America. We will be sponsoring more events in the near future as our way to give back to those less fortunate! Please join us as we do our part to support the Denver Community!
